Your Network Is Your Net Worth

September 21, 2025

September 2025 will go down as one of the proudest moments of my DJ journey so far. I had the absolute honour of playing at Ghosts of Garage, sharing the line-up with legends like Wookie, Grant Nelson, Sweet Female Attitude, and Sunship.

To even write those names alongside mine feels surreal. These are artists who laid the foundations of UK Garage, who inspired me and so many others to fall in love with this sound. To be on the same bill as them is something I’ll carry with me forever.

The event itself was a day rave at Freight Island — the sun was out, the atmosphere was building, and I played a 90-minute warm-up set to get things started. I’m not going to sit here and say the place was packed while I was on, because it wasn’t. But that’s the reality of a daytime event. What mattered to me was that I felt I represented myself and the music properly, and I was proud of the set I delivered. By the end of the day, the place was buzzing, the energy was high, and it felt amazing to have been part of it.

I was also grateful to have people come down to support me — that meant a lot. And who knows, hopefully it will open the door to more opportunities at Freight Island in the future.

One thing I’ve learned in this journey is how important the people around you are. My good friend and fellow DJ, DJPHD, has always told me: “your network is your net worth.” And that couldn’t be more true. On that day, I didn’t just play my set — I had the chance to connect with Wookie, Grant Nelson, Sweet Female Attitude, Sunship, and others. Conversations were had, relationships were started, and who knows — maybe some of those connections will lead to future collaborations or even guests on the airwaves.

The Fusion on LDC Radio

Speaking of the airwaves, I’ve got to give a big thanks to Danny T and Mark, who’ve both been a huge support on the radio side of things. And a special shoutout to my producer, Danny, who’s been working hard behind the scenes to help me prep.

I’ll be honest — I’m nervous, but I’m also excited, because on September 21st I’ll be starting my own show on LDC Radio called The Fusion. To be live on FM across Yorkshire is going to be a surreal moment for me, but I know it’s going to be a good one.

This experience has already led to more opportunities and more connections, and that’s something I’m very proud of. Every step forward, no matter how big or small, means progress — and that’s what keeps me pushing.

Keep listening, keep vibing, and stay connected.

Because at the end of the day… your network really is your net worth.

I’ve got a lot to say

August 21, 2025

I honestly never thought I’d be in this position. Two years ago, if you’d told me I’d be back DJing properly, hosting my own radio show, getting booked for gigs across the country, even flying out abroad to play, and now launching my own website — I wouldn’t have believed you.

When I brought back Friday Fusion, it was just meant to be a way to share the music I love. From that, things kept growing, and now I’m proud to be hosting my own radio show called The Fusion on LDC Radio, broadcasting on the FM dial across Yorkshire. Taking the Friday Fusion energy to FM has been a huge step for me, and it still feels surreal every time I go live.

Through TikTok and social media, I’ve also met so many amazing people from all over the country who share the same love for UK Garage. That’s the power of music — it connects people in ways you can’t explain.

It hasn’t all been smooth sailing though. Over the past two years, there have been times when I’ve stepped back — sometimes because of life, and other times because of the toxic energy that can come with social media. It can be very clicky at times, with certain groups or circles creating bad vibes. For a while, I let that get to me, and I questioned whether it was worth carrying on.

But I kept going. I kept focusing on the music, on the people who truly support, and on the opportunities that were in front of me. Eventually, that bad energy became irrelevant — it couldn’t touch what I was building. And that’s been one of the biggest lessons of this journey so far: stay true, stay consistent, and let your work shine through.

2025 especially has been a real eye-opener. I’ve been lucky enough to support MC Harvey from So Solid Crew on a handful of occasions — including at Silverstone, which was a surreal moment for me. I’ve also shared stages with legends like MC Kie, MC Neat, and many more. The list just keeps on growing, and every time I look back at it, I feel humbled that I’ve even had the chance to be in those rooms, never mind on the same line-ups.

To be flown out to Malia to DJ was another one of those “pinch me” moments. These are experiences I’ll never forget, and they remind me that all the hours, all the setbacks, all the grind is worth it.

Now with this website, I’ve got somewhere to keep you all updated — on gigs, The Fusion, Friday Fusion, and everything else that’s happening along the way. I’m going to do my best to keep this blog updated whenever I’ve got something to say, so stay connected with me and keep coming back to see where the journey takes us next.

Keep listening, keep vibing, and stay connected.
